Since stepping into leadership at R/GA Japan, my focus has shifted from executing ideas to building the conditions for bold, culturally relevant, and strategically sound work to thrive.
I lead one of R/GA’s most complex and creatively ambitious offices—where we’ve delivered our most profitable and award-winning year, grown our team by 30%, and secured multi-market partnerships across North Asia. This chapter is about more than creative output—it's about scaling a future-forward business in one of the most demanding and dynamic markets in the world.
Business Leadership & Growth
In August 2023, I stepped in as General Manager—and within six months, we delivered the most profitable year in the office’s history. I made hard calls: cut low-performing work, reshaped our portfolio, and reignited key partnerships.
Promoted to Managing Director in May 2024, I doubled down on our strategic edge—gaming, brand identity, and local/regional/global brand experience activations. The result: 30% team growth, our first D&AD Graphite Pencil, and R/GA Japan's highest-ever performance across revenue, margins, client satisfaction, and work quality.
We expanded into South Korea and Taiwan with a lean, effective model—and positioned R/GA Japan as a top-tier performer across the APAC region. PONOS and Google became two of the top 15 global accounts, and two of the top 5 in APAC.

My work is grounded in understanding the unique rhythm of the Japanese market and helping both local and global brands navigate it with confidence. Leading in Japan demands more than translation—it requires interpretation. I navigate the nuance between global ambition and local expectations, bridging cultural subtleties that most overlook. It’s part instinct, part experience, part obsession with the country’s history, culture, and behavioral intricacies, while always fully intentional.
I've spent years crafting business strategies rooted in cultural insight, customer behavior, and scalable systems. From Nike and Google to PONOS and Shiseido, I’ve helped shape market entry strategies, product innovation roadmaps, and full-funnel brand transformation across industries and borders.
I approach strategy as both compass and engine—ensuring every decision aligns to business ambition, cultural truth, and creative clarity. This approach has enabled me not only to establish R/GA Japan as the only truly international, world-class creative innovation partner in Japan, but also develop a market footprint in South Korea and Taiwan with minimal investments and local operation costs.

Before I was a Managing Director, I was a technologist, strategist, and global creative leader. I’ve led technical and brand innovation for over 20 years—working with everyone from Beats by Dre and Magic Leap to Google, Instagram, and Unity.
Those experiences shaped how I lead today: blending technology, brand thinking, and modern growth strategies. I bring a lens of innovation to everything I do—whether it’s introducing AI-enabled creative systems, applying growth loop principles, or scaling iterative product development.
At R/GA Japan, I helped pioneer our early work in generative AI, smart automation, and technical partnerships. We now integrate these into creative practices for clients ready to evolve.

My leadership is shaped by two decades working across LATAM, the US, EMEA, the Middle East, Australia, and Asia. I’ve lived and built teams across four continents, delivering complex work in culturally layered environments.
In Japan and Asia-Pacific, I’ve helped brands translate global ambition into locally resonant execution—and have scaled R/GA’s presence across markets like Singapore, Shanghai, and Indonesia.
I speak English, Spanish, French, and Japanese fluently, allowing me to bridge cultural nuance with operational clarity—helping clients succeed in Japan, and helping Japan-based brands grow globally.
