      <image:title>Work - b8ta Retail-as-a-Service Platform</image:title>
      <image:caption>b8ta is a startup that originated in the U.S. to provide an experience-based space for retail, enabling product makers to showcase their products in a unique environment where customers can explore and interact with products with ease. b8ta branched out to Japan and quickly gained a foothold in some of the most premium locations like Shibuya and Yurakucho. However, their software platform was not fit for the Japanese market, lacking key integrations with inventory, sales, warehousing and POS systems, as well as English only interfaces which made it really hard for Japanese product makers to use the platform and get the most value out of it.</image:caption>
